About Emma Tinklenberg NCMG
Emma Tinklenberg is a certified master groomer, self-taught artist, self-published author, and dog sport enthusiast living in West Michigan. She shares her home with her crew of pets - dogs, cats, reptiles, goats, and birds.
She has trained in many venues of dog sports with many different breeds since starting as a junior handler. Her career started with English Setters and Shetland Sheepdogs as well as English Cocker Spaniels, Icelandic Sheepdogs, Pugs, and Doberman Pinschers. Her training philosophy when handling dogs is always focused on safety, having fun, and ultimately building relationships (with dogs and humans!) based on trust and kindness.
Emma is certified through the National Dog Groomers Association of America, certified in pet safety, first aid, and CPR/CPCR, certified in Fear Free handling, and is actively working on certification as a pet aesthetician through Iv San Bernard USA.

Her career is equal parts grooming dogs, training dogs, and creating pet portraits. More than anything else, she loves spending time with her own dogs, hiking, exploring, reading, learning, and finding and creating beautiful things.
